Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, Deployment Engineering, or Production Support.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of change management and ITIL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of application deployment architectures and environment management.
• Experience in troubleshooting deployment failures and production incidents.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled Release & Deployment Engineer to manage and support software releases across development, test, staging, and production environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment planning, release execution, CI/CD automation, environment management, change control, and production support while ensuring high availability, reliability, and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate application releases across multiple environments.
• Manage end-to-end deployment activities, including release packaging, implementation, validation, and rollback procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to ensure successful release execution.
• Support change management processes, CAB approvals, deployment readiness reviews, and release documentation.
• Perform production validation, smoke testing, post-deployment monitoring, and incident triage.
• Maintain release calendars, deployment schedules, and release metrics.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks using scripting technologies.
• Manage environment readiness, configuration consistency, and dependency coordination.
• Support root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks, deployment guides, knowledge articles, and release procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, Deployment Engineering, or Production Support.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of change management and ITIL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of application deployment architectures and environment mana gement.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Familiarity with ServiceNow and release governance processes.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes.
