The Role

• Provide technical and programmatic support to the Fire Control and Guidance Branch within the Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
• Assist in the development of program strategies, specifications, and costs, ensuring compliance with SSP requirements.
• Offer technical, schedule, cost, and risk assessments, including trade-off considerations.
• Participate in various program-related meetings and reviews, such as Critical Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings.
• Lead and support integrated product teams.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, chemistry, physics, math).
• 4+ years of engineering experience on defense programs.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required (TOP SECRET strongly preferred).
• Ability to work on-site at the Washington Navy Yard.
• Exceptional writing and presentation abilities, with strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Master's degree in a STEM field is a plus.
