Description
We are looking for a technically adept professional to join our team remotely as a Digital Mid BackEnd Java Developer. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a digital banking platform, collaborating with various teams to enhance scalability, security, and resilience. Proficiency in a general programming language is required. Analyze application code and architecture to identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct technical analysis of applications, APIs, and services to solve engineering challenges. Influence technical decisions to enhance scalability and sustainability. Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs and implementation strategies. Prioritize improvements to reduce technical debt and add lasting value. Promote secure coding practices from the start of the development process. Support cloud adoption and application lifecycle improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform code and architectural analysis for optimization. Conduct technical assessments of integrations and services. Guide technical decisions for long-term sustainability. Collaborate on solution designs with engineering teams. Promote secure coding and application design practices. Qualifications
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and application architecture. Proficiency in reading and analyzing source code. Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. Understanding of modern software delivery practices such as CI/CD and DevOps.
