Join our team as a Digital Mid BackEnd Java Developer in a remote, contract role. 
You''ll work closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams to enhance our digital platform. 
Your expertise in software engineering principles and modern application architecture will be crucial in solving complex problems and influencing technical decisions. 
Proficiency in Java and experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Dive into application code and architecture to identify improvement opportunities.
Perform technical analysis across applications and services to solve engineering challenges.
Influence decisions that enhance scalability, resiliency, and maintainability.
Partner with teams to review solution designs and implementation approaches.
Champion secure coding practices and ensure security is integrated from the start.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern application architecture.
Proficiency in Java and experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and security-by-design methodologies.
Experience with modern software delivery practices including CI/CD and DevOps.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
