Job Description
Role Summary
The HR Operations Specialist supports payroll, benefits, compensation, HR systems, reporting, and compliance activities across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate HR data, administering key programs and platforms, and supporting efficient HR operations while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Administer payroll processes and coordinate with payroll vendors and finance teams to support accurate and timely processing and reporting.
- Support total rewards programs, including employee benefits and incentive programs, vendor coordination, and employee communications.
- Administer and maintain HRIS, performance management, compensation, and benefits platforms.
- Generate and analyze workforce data and reports to support HR operations, required filings, EEO reviews, and compliance activities.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, reporting, and vendor invoice review.
- Support compensation programs, including pay structures, pay equity analysis, and incentive plan administration.
- Prepare and coordinate required state and federal HR-related filings.
- Support leave administration processes and collaborate with appropriate internal and external partners.
- Assist with applicant tracking and recruiting system administration as needed.
- Contribute to HR initiatives and projects while maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or a related role involving payroll, benefits, HR systems, or similar responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on HRIS experience as a system administrator, super user, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy when managing employee data and records.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a systems-oriented approach to work.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience developing, documenting, and supporting HR processes within evolving business environments.
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
Publishing Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
