Job Description

Aircraft Electrical Design Engineer (Full training Part-21) £40,000 - £50,000 + Full Part-21 Training + Technical Development + Progression + Benefits + Bonus + Pension Stansted / Bishop's Stortford Are you an Avionics Engineer / Technical Services Engineer or similar looking to take the next step in your career and gain full training in Part-21 Aircraft Design and Certification for a Global Company expanding their UK site with progression into Leadership? This is a rare and exciting opportunity to move away from purely maintenance or technical support work and develop into a specialist aircraft design and certification career. You will receive structured training while working directly on live avionics, electrical and cabin modification projects across commercial aircraft. You will join a small UK design team where you will work closely with experienced engineers and gain responsibility early on. With a large proportion of the company's work involving cabin modification projects, you will gain broad exposure to the electrical, avionics and certification requirements involved in modifying commercial aircraft interiors.

The Role:

Full training in Part-21 aircraft design and certification<br />Develop avionics and electrical modification designs<br />Support cabin modification projects and the integration of electrical and avionics systems within aircraft interiors<br />Produce and interpret wiring diagrams and harness documentation<br />Develop knowledge of EWIS and electrical load analysis<br />Prepare Service Bulletins and accomplishment instructions<br />Produce certification, compliance and technical documentation<br />Support aircraft surveys, testing and installation activities<br />Develop into a specialist aircraft design and certification engineerThe Person: Experience working directly with aircraft avionics or electrical systems<br />Background could include B2 / avionics engineering, Part-145 maintenance, aircraft electrical engineering, airline technical services, aircraft modifications or avionics support<br />Comfortable working with aircraft technical documentation<br />Looking to move into aircraft design and certificationReference Number: BBBH Avionics Engineer, Aircraft Electrical Engineer, B2 Engineer, Technical Services Engineer, Part 145, Part-21, Part-21J, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Modification, Aviation, Aerospace, EWIS, Aircraft Wiring, Stansted, Bishop's Stortford, Essex, Hertfordshire If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
