Job Description

Project Manager with Cloud Security & Vulnerability Management Program
📍 Location: Quincy, MA
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – 4–6 days onsite per month
 
Position Summary
The Project Manager will support the enterprise Cloud Security and Vulnerability Management Program by coordinating delivery activities, tracking remediation efforts, managing schedules, risks, dependencies, governance reporting, and ensuring successful execution of security initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end execution of cloud security and vulnerability remediation projects.
  • Coordinate activities across Security, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Application, IAM, and Operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Track vulnerability remediation progress and ensure delivery against established SLAs.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, status reviews, risk reviews, and leadership updates.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, decisions, and action items and drive timely resolution.
  • Partner with security teams on remediation planning and prioritization activities.
  • Produce executive dashboards and weekly/monthly program status reports.
  • Support audit, compliance, regulatory, and security assessment initiatives.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables and project financial tracking.
  • Regulatory and Audit understanding.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading technology initiatives.
  • 3+ years supporting cybersecurity, cloud security, infrastructure, or risk management programs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
Technical Knowledge
  • AWS, Azure, and cloud technologies.
  • Vulnerability management and remediation processes.
  • Cybersecurity governance and risk management.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Security Operations and incident management.
  • Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • SAFe Agilist
  • CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
Success Measures
  • On-time delivery of security initiatives.
