Project Manager - Low Voltage Systems

The Project Manager - Low Voltage Systems will oversee large-scale installation, construction, and upgrade initiatives for low-voltage IT systems in campus, school, and government environments. This role manages schedules, resources, budgets, project documentation, and stakeholder coordination. The position reviews statements of work, project designs, Bills of Material, and critical path schedules while tracking expenditures, job tickets, issues, and resolutions. The Project Manager will conduct onsite visits in Los Angeles and help ensure contract requirements and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, construction and upgrade of low-voltage IT systems Local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, Intrusion, IP Public Address/Intercom and IP Video Camera systems in large campschool or government environments.


• Create, review and monitor project schedules.


• Review and approve statements of work (SOW), project designs and Bills of Material (BOM).


• Manage and coordinate project resources.


• Gather and analyze data to assist in the creation of project budgets.


• Prepare and review time management plans and schedules and prepare recovery schedules to meet contract requirements.


• Prepare project plans and reports regarding progress, issues and resolutions.


• Prepares clear and concise reports.


• Formulating and expressing ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.


• Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner.


• Related tasks: Conduct site visits and meetings with customers and stakeholders


• Read and interpret design documentation, plans and specifications.


• Collect, analyze and interpret statistical and budgetary information.


• Tracks and maintains project expenditures, and job tickets.


• Prepare critical path schedules.


• Generate e-mails of status completions


• Maintain effective relationships with District personnel and other organizations.

Qualifications

Required:

• A California Driver's license and use of a car.

Preferred (Optional):

• Experience with Project Management tools including MS Project is a plus

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $76 - $86 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
