Job Description

Year Up United seeks motivated professionals for our Financial Advisor Training Program within our Educational Services model. In this role, you will learn fundamental financial planning, budgeting, credit, and investing concepts while supporting program participants on their journey to economic mobility. Under close supervision, you'll assist with financial coaching sessions, prepare learning materials, track participant progress, and analyze basic financial data. You'll collaborate with instructors and corporate partners, gaining exposure to advisory tools and compliance basics while building a pathway toward a career in financial services and education.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of financial literacy and advising curriculum to young adults
  • Assist with budgeting, credit, and basic investment coaching under supervision
  • Prepare learning materials, tools, and resources for workshops and classes
  • Track and document participant progress and outcomes in program systems
  • Conduct basic financial data analysis and produce simple reports
  • Collaborate with instructors, coaches, and corporate partners on program delivery
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow compliance and ethical guidelines
  • Participate in training, feedback, and continuous learning activities
  • Provide high-quality customer service and respond to participant questions
  • Contribute to an inclusive, equity-driven, and mission-focused culture
