Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS data platforms, SQL, and data engineering to support enterprise-scale analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building analytical datasets, integrating data from multiple sources, and optimizing data platforms for business intelligence. Required Skills 14+ years of software development experience with a strong data engineering background. 9+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platforms. Advanced SQL skills with expertise in data modeling and analytical dataset development. Strong AWS experience, including Amazon S3, Athena, AWS Glue, and AWS Unified Data Catalog. Experience with ETL/ELT tools, preferably SnapLogic. Expertise in supporting BI and reporting solutions using Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI. Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, and performance optimization.
Additional Information:
Hybrid work model (3 days/week onsite in Manhattan). Local NYC candidates preferred. Interview Process: Trianz + Client (2-3 rounds). Contractor work schedule: 35 hours/week.
