Job Description

Daniel Defense LLC seeks an Operations Systems Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing and business systems in our Georgia firearms facilities. You will configure, integrate, and troubleshoot MES/ERP and related shop-floor applications, ensuring data integrity, uptime, and secure connectivity between production equipment and enterprise systems. Responsibilities include requirements gathering from operations teams, implementing system changes, writing queries and reports, documenting procedures, and coordinating with IT and engineering. You'll help drive quality, throughput, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, mission-focused, American-made manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support MES/ERP and operations systems for manufacturing
  • Integrate shop-floor equipment and data flows with enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot system, interface, and data integrity issues impacting production
  • Gather requirements from manufacturing, quality, and operations stakeholders
  • Develop queries, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and change history
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and production on system improvements
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and deployment in live environments
  • Monitor performance and implement optimizations for reliability and uptime
  • Ensure adherence to security, safety, and quality standards in all systems work
