Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer Pharmaceuticals Supply Chain Salary: £45,000k - £50,000k + Fully expensed vehicle with fuel card – On call allowance Type: Full time permanent Location: Sheffield + UK travel to other sites Sector: Pharmaceuticals / Life science supply chain, NHS warehouse, logistics, cold storage & distribution This is an excellent opportunity to join a global pharmaceuticals organisation in a Site Refrigeration Engineer appointment. You will have responsibly for several large pharmaceutical’s site refrigeration systems / contracts ensuring all maintenance / servicing - KPI’s are achieved Key Areas: -

• Day to day site maintenance / servicing
• Carry out maintenance, calibration and repair of environmental ultra cold storage
• UK call out coverage
• Ultra-low temperatures
• F-Gas standards
• Experience of ISO 9001 Quality System environments The

key responsibilities:

• Maintenance of company refrigeration systems on manufacturing or storage sites in accordance with the procedures / SOP's / IOS 9001
• Day to day site maintenance / servicing, calibration and repair of environmental cold storage systems
• Respond to and complete emergency repairs to the installed equipment.
• Ensure that the 'installed equipment' is operating within the defined limits and that all Planned Maintenance is completed in accordance with the schedules issued.
• Ensure that all Emergency Service work is completed in a timely manner maintaining the safe operation of the installed equipment.
• Complete all works in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy ensuring the safety of themselves and others in addition to highlighting any concerns which may not be covered by the documented system.
• Ensure that all appropriate tools and equipment are maintained in a usable and safe condition in accordance with Company policy and statutory legislation.
• Carry out of hours weekend and bank holiday emergency site visits on an on-call rota basis Person Specification: -
• Previous experience of working within a Cold supply chain logistics environment
• Experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems
• A recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential, with proven experience in refrigeration and site services
• F-gas qualification is essential
