This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Engineer looking for a varied mobile role with excellent earning potential and long-term career opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of plant and equipment, working across customer sites within their designated area. The Role As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.<br />Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.<br />Attending customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs.<br />Completing inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.<br />Working independently while representing the company professionally on customer sites.<br />Completing service reports and accurately recording all work carried out.<br />Ordering parts and stock through approved company supplier accounts.<br />Communicating effectively with supervisors, customers and the wider engineering team.<br />Participating in the on-call rota where required.<br />The Candidate The successful Mobile Plant Engineer will ideally have experience within:

Heavy Plant<br />Construction Equipment<br />Earthmoving Equipment<br />Agricultural Machinery<br />Material Handling<br />Recycling Equipment<br />Powered Access<br />Quarrying Equipment<br />You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Mechanic.<br />Experience with pumps.<br />The ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently.<br />A full UK driving licence.<br />Excellent communication and customer service skills.<br />An NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.<br />The Package The successful candidate will receive a competitive package including:
