Data Analyst

The Data Analyst focuses on the detailed technical data structures and integration mappings. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution by producing precise field-level mapping documents and functional specifications to support system integration.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with Functional Analysts to translate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into detailed data mappings.

· Produce and maintain comprehensive Field Mapping Documents (FMDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).

· Identify and document data integration requirements, system numbering logic, and detailed transformation rules.

· Maintain the data requirements register and compile mapping gap/issue logs during integration cycles.

· Ensure mapped structures comply with conversion templates and technical precision standards.

Required Skills & Expertise

· In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG data structures, database schemas, and master data concepts.

· Experience supporting SAP transformation, implementation, and migration initiatives (specifically system and data integration projects).

· Strong capability in developing source-to-target mappings for complex operational systems.

· Proven experience documenting data transformation rules, business logic, and field mappings.

· Experience managing requirements traceability and maintaining alignment across functional and technical teams.

· Proficiency in SQL and detailed data analysis techniques.
