Network Engineer

GovCIO seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure resilient network infrastructure for federal IT environments. In this role, you will architect and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network solutions for federal clients
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of critical systems
• Harden and secure network infrastructure in alignment with federal cybersecurity and compliance standards
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and application teams to support mission-critical projects
• Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures, promoting continual improvement
• Support on-call and incident response activities for network-related events
