QA/Tester

Introduction:

One of our clients is looking for a QA/Tester to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires strong skills in Testing, Quality Assurance, QA Management, and Team Leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures.
• Resolve testing process questions/issues.
• Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments.
• Conduct inspections and resolve issues.
• Coordinate and execute assembly or product tests with various teams.
• Assist Team Lead in monitoring tasks.
• Work with team members to enhance testing skills.
• Update and test release installation procedures.
• Stay updated on industry developments and apply them to work.
• Determine time estimates and schedule for work efforts.
• Define and utilize entry/exit criteria for testing.
• Schedule structured walk-throughs or inspections.
• Work with users to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Anticipate and resolve team-specific issues.
• Identify and track issues, risks, and action items.
• Perform as a test lead.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of QA Management and Team Leadership.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large and complex implementations and systems.
• Ability to lead a team effectively.
• Experience with different testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate may have to undergo a drug test and background check.
