Technical Program Manager – J2EE / AWS / AI / Full Stack

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead high-impact technology initiatives supporting business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background in J2EE, AWS, AI, and Full Stack development, combined with proven program management and client-facing leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programs aligned with business objectives, revenue goals, and customer outcomes.
• Manage multiple engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Drive roadmap planning, cross-team dependencies, and prioritization.
• Provide technical leadership across various technologies.
• Establish program governance, reporting standards, and delivery metrics.
• Manage program-level risks, issues, and escalation processes.
• Partner with key stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Drive Agile/SAFe delivery practices across teams.
• Act as a client-facing Point of Contact (POC) and build customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and additional business.
• Provide executive-level communication covering program status and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement in application development best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools in engineering workflows.
• Influence stakeholders and engineering teams effectively.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of enterprise application development experience with J2EE.
• Strong Technical Program Management experience.
• Strong technical expertise in Java, Microservices, AWS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Experience managing onsite/offshore delivery models.
• Strong roadmap, dependency, risk, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
• Ability to work 5 days onsite in Fort Collins, CO.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing large-scale enterprise modernization or digital transformation programs.
• Experience working directly with customers and executive stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to account growth and identifying new business opportunities.
• Experience delivering complex cloud-native and distributed applications.
