Human Resource Manager

Selmet is seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead HR operations at our precision manufacturing facility in Springfield, OR. In this role, you will oversee recruitment for skilled manufacturing and professional roles, manage onboarding and training, and support a culture focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. You will administer benefits and compensation programs, guide performance management and employee relations, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Partnering with operations leaders, you will drive workforce planning, engagement, and continuous improvement to support long-term growth in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations for a high-tech aerospace manufacturing facility
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
• Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policies
• Oversee performance management, coaching, and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and safety policies
• Develop and coordinate training and development programs
• Support culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Partner with operations leaders on staffing and organizational initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data
• Lead HR projects to improve processes and employee engagement
