Job description:


Product Owner responsible for maximizing value across Equity Capital Markets Technology, with ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for deal origination, pipeline, and execution platforms.


Partners closely with senior business stakeholders (Capital Markets COOs, ECM Syndicate, Execution Services, and Equity Sales) and technology teams in a scaled Agile model to deliver high?impact solutions.


Primary Skill:


Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned to business strategy, regulatory expectations, and technology modernization.


Gain deep understanding of ECM / DCM deal workflows and supporting applications across the end to end lifecycle.


Perform materiality and value assessments to prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, risk, regulatory sensitivity, and return on investment.


Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, align priorities, and make informed trade off decisions.


Own and prioritize the program and product backlogs, including epics, features, and stories, for 1-3 cross functional Agile teams.


Refine, review, and accept stories; make real time decisions on scope and requirements to ensure optimal value delivery.


Manage and govern outsourced vendor engagements, ensuring clear scope, accountability, quality, and alignment with product objectives.


Partner with delivery teams to balance in house and vendor delivery models for cost, speed, and quality.


Drive user adoption through demos, training, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.


Secondary Skill:


Knowledge and experience of Capital Markets Deal Origination and Deal Pipeline, Equity Capital Markets/ New Issue/ Primary Markets (New Issue Bonds, IPOs, Follow Ons) requires approximately 8-10 years BA experience.


Excellent analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking ability; ability to troubleshoot production issues and get them resolved quickly by the appropriate support team;


Experience working directly with the front office, ideally in a trading floor environment, is strongly preferred


Experience with capital markets and the Deal Origination, Deal Pipeline, syndication process is a must.


Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize effectively and handle responsibilities for multiple projects / support issues concurrently


Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to get a point across quickly and concisely is important.


Agile skills to write quality User Stories, effectively prioritizes the backlog/work items, defines acceptance criteria and aligns business stakeholders on priorities. JIRA and Confluence.


Experience working as part of a global team is a plus


BI Tools experience is helpful; MS Office, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams
