Job Description

Commercial Gas Engineer - Perth - Salary up to £52,000 DOE We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities team, delivering planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial properties and government sites throughout North East Scotland. This is a field-based role, based in Perth, with coverage extending from Montrose to Stirling.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), proactive maintenance and reactive repairs across commercial gas, combustion, heating and HVAC systems.<br />Diagnose faults and undertake effective repairs on commercial heating and gas systems.<br />Carry out routine servicing, inspections and maintenance in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and client requirements.<br />Undertake new installations and both major and minor repair works to gas and heating systems.<br />Complete general building services maintenance, including:<br />HVAC<br />Plumbing<br />Mechanical systems<br />Building fabric<br />Associated building services<br />Respond to out-of-hours callouts as part of the on-call rota, ensuring issues are dealt with safely and efficiently.<br />Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety and compliance requirements.<br />Travel between client sites across North East Scotland as required.Person Specification: You will have significant experience working within commercial gas, combustion, heating and building services maintenance, ideally within a Facilities Management or commercial property environment. Strong commercial gas and heating engineering background.<br />Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.<br />Experience carrying out routine and preventative maintenance.<br />Experience undertaking installation and repair works.<br />Extensive experience delivering both reactive maintenance and PPM.<br />Experience working within commercial buildings or a Facilities Management environment.<br />Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple sites.<br />Full UK Driving Licence.<br />Essential Qualifications<br />Commercial Gas Qualifications<br />Domestic Gas Qualifications<br />City &amp; Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC or a related Mechanical Engineering discipline<br />Gas Safe Registered<br />IPAF<br />PASMA<br />Full UK Driving LicenceSalary &amp;
