Principal Process Engineer

Principal Process Engineer - Water Sector<br />Manchester - Hybrid (2-3 days in the office) Contract or Permanent £60-70k Advance TRS is supporting a growing specialist design and engineering team and is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality water and wastewater treatment solutions.

What you'll be doing Produce safe, high-quality and compliant process design deliverables<br />Develop efficient design solutions informed by scopes and site visits<br />Lead, mentor and support junior engineers and designers<br />Prepare design risk assessments, technical reports and specifications<br />Carry out mass balance, process sizing and hydraulic calculations<br />Develop PFDs, control philosophies and commissioning strategies<br />Ensure design compliance with relevant technical and industry standards<br />Estimate hours for design packages and manage design change control<br />Present designs at HAZOP, ALM, KM and similar technical reviews What you'll bring 10+ years' relevant process design experience within the regulated water industry<br />Chartered Engineer status<br />Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and proven delivery experience<br />Degree, HND or equivalent technical background<br />Confident IT and technical presentation skillsBonus points for Experience across both clean and wastewater treatment<br />Experience of HAZOP studies (ideally as Chair)<br />Full driving licence and access to a vehicle You'll excel if you are A strong technical thinker and problem-solver<br />An effective communicator across all levels<br />Results-focused with a commitment to quality<br />Passionate about developing both yourself and others Please contact Molly Brown for more information.
