Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in enterprise application development to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance Java applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, and Azure cloud technologies while following secure coding and DevSecOps best practices.
Required Skills
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise Java application development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, database design, SQL development, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud deployment, and application modernization.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with security analysis tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or Claude Code.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and software testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
  • Build secure, scalable REST APIs and web services.
  • Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Optimize SQL queries and improve application performance.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Prepare technical documentation and implementation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with OWASP secure coding standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with payment gateway integrations or payment processing systems.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or OWASP ASVS.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
