Mainframe Developer

Location: Malvern, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mainframe Developer
1+ Year Contract Opportunity
Malvern, PA (hybrid--onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and test mainframe applications using COBOL Stored Procedures, CICS, and SQL accessing DB2 and VSAM.

Proficient in JCL, PROCs, and mainframe batch processing

Skilled in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.

Experience with debugging across front end applications thru to backend processes and data

Experience with Service Now for Change Management and Confluence as a Documentation Repository

Proficient in various SDLC models, including AGILE (SCRUM), TDD, and Waterfall

Familiarity with DevOps practices including JIRA and Github.

Adept at interacting with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Experienced in working with teams which are co-located and with remote offshore development teams.

Experience with Endevor for Version Management
