Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Accrington? You will be electrically bias and have experience of working within a FMCG environment.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Responsible for the effective repair, maintenance and improvement of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic elements of the production plant<br />To assist in the development of predictive and planned maintenance systems for all production equipment and the implementation of those systems<br />Carry out daily routine checks; lubrication, PPM's<br />Support the manufacturing process by responding in a timely manner to equipment breakdowns<br />Carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults<br />Fault find in an effective and efficient manner whilst utilising the various machines relevant documentation<br />Establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and engineering utilities team with a collaborative approach to problem solving<br />Ensuring that machinery is maintained, and repaired to a high standard<br />Train and motivate production teams to improve plant and equipment understanding<br />To carry out all responsibilities and practices with the aim of producing food safely and to required internal &amp; external specifications within a HACCP frameworkHours of work:

Monday to Friday (Week 1) 6am - 2pm (Week 2) 2pm - 10pm 1 week in 6 you will be required to work a Saturday and Sunday but have the Monday and Tuesday off the following week<br />Saturday - 6am - 2pm Sunday - 7am - 3pm Suitable Candidates: Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer.

Qualified to NVQ Level 3<br />ONC / HNC in Engineering - or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge<br />Experience with electrical &amp; mechanical maintenance - FMCG manufacturing<br />Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations<br />Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentIf you are interested in the above role, APPLY NOW via the job board
