Job Description

Location: London<br />Contract: Ongoing Contract Outside IR35<br />Shift Pattern: Days or Nights available<br />Rate: Up to £330 per shift, dependent on experience and shift pattern &amp; Van, Fuel card provided. We are seeking an experienced Air conditioning engineer to work across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout London. The role will focus primarily on the maintenance and repair of Airedale HVAC and air-conditioning units, requiring strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. The successful engineer must be comfortable working independently, responding to faults and completing repairs to a high standard. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on Airedale HVAC units.
  • Identify mechanical, electrical and refrigeration-related faults.
  • Complete repairs and replace defective components.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Test systems following repairs to confirm safe and effective operation.
  • Record completed works, faults identified and parts used.
  • Travel between commercial sites across London. Essential Requirements
  • Valid F-Gas certification as a minimum.
  • Proven experience working as an HVAC or air-conditioning engineer.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair experience.
  • Experience working on Airedale units or similar commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work either day or night shifts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site requirements. Desirable Experience
  • Relevant City &amp; Guilds or NVQ qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Experience working in commercial or critical environments.
  • Knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC control systems
