Job Description

Job Title: AI (Artificial Intelligence) Security Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

·       We are seeking an AI Security Infrastructure Engineer to be a key technical leader, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI innovation and core infrastructure security. Your mission will be to drive forward-looking security strategies and engineering solutions for Generative AI and LLM platforms, while specializing in leveraging AI security capabilities to augment and fortify existing enterprise solutions.The Engineer must be up to date with the latest security technologies, AI security threats and relevant architecture.

·       The Security Engineer has advanced experience in the security space and possesses an Engineering mindset, including but not limited to being able to identify the root cause of complex problems and collaborate with teams or vendors to resolve problems or incidents.

·       The successful candidate must have demonstrated advanced ability to architect, engineer, design, build, support and document solutions in these areas of Security Engineering. The successful candidate will also work closely with multiple different lines of business and other Security Engineering teams to ensure built solutions enhance productivity and add value to the organization.

·       This results of the Engineer’s work ensures that AI workloads are protected against threats such as prompt injection, data leakage, and malicious content, while also maintaining system reliability, logging, and integration with enterprise security tooling.

 

Technical Skills:

 

 Experience with:

·       Solution, policy and architecture design along with experience of operation, integration, monitoring, and security management of security Applications.

·       AI workload protection against various threats

·       APIs, REST integrations, and authentication (OAuth, tokens)

·       SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel)

·       Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)

·       EDR technologies and platforms

·       AI security / LLM guardrails

·       DevSecOps / infrastructure-as-code

·       Scripting/automation (examples include Python, bash and PowerShell)

  

Strong understanding of:

·       Application security and network security principles

·       AI/LLM risks (prompt injection, data leakage, etc.)

·       Firewalls(application/proxy), intrusion detection systems, authentication mechanisms, and networking protocols including but not limited to SMTP, HTTP(s), DNS, TCP/IP, and SNMP as they pertain to security solutions

 

Education and Accreditation

 

·       University, post-graduate degree or 6+ years experience in a relevant role or field

·       Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)

·       Certification in one or more security certifications, Cloud and AI certifications e.g. CISSP, CCSP are an asset but not required
