The Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) / eCommerce Operations professional to drive operational excellence and standardisation across a global online retail business.

You will be responsible for identifying operational improvements, developing global standards and supporting geographical expansion across Europe and other international markets. Working independently with commercial, finance, analytics, IT, supply chain and logistics teams, you will use data-driven insights to improve performance, customer experience and operational efficiency.

This is a newly created role following a team restructure, suited to a proactive self-starter who can learn quickly, work autonomously and make an impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive global D2C operational excellence, standardisation and continuous improvement.

  • Analyse operational capabilities across regions, identifying gaps and developing improvement plans.

  • Work with analytics and reporting teams to develop KPIs, performance metrics and dashboards.

  • Support international market expansion and the introduction of new product ranges (SKUs).

  • Manage and support third-party logistics (3PL) partner onboarding, system integrations and operational improvements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis, resolve operational issues and drive corrective actions.

  • Develop business plans, executive summaries, roadmaps, business cases and cost-benefit analyses.

  • Monitor project costs, benefits, risks and progress, providing clear updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Work across Commercial, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics and Operations teams.

  • Establish consistent global processes and ensure new partners and markets meet operational requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years' experience in D2C, eCommerce operations, supply chain, logistics or operational transformation.

  • Proven Direct-to-Consumer experience within an online retail business.

  • Experience supporting 3PL partner onboarding, systems integration, enhancements and UAT.

  • Strong analytical skills, including KPI development, dashboards, performance reporting and data-led decision-making.

  • Experience supporting international expansion across multiple geographical markets.

  • Proven ability to develop business plans, executive summaries, roadmaps, business cases and cost-benefit analyses.

  • Strong project management, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior executives.

  • A self-starter who can work independently, learn quickly and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Working Arrangements

The role is global in scope and offers remote or hybrid working from the London office, with no travel required. The successful candidate will initially spend approximately three months building their knowledge of the business, systems and operations, before taking ownership of global standardisation analysis and improvement initiatives.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Apply now to be considered for this long-term contract opportunity within a global D2C operation.
