Job description

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration, Red Hat OpenShift, Linux infrastructure, enterprise storage, networking, and automation. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms and highly available infrastructure environments.

Required Skills & Experience

·         Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, configuration, upgrades, operations, and production troubleshooting.

·         Experience with enterprise Kubernetes platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift and/or Rancher.

·         Strong RHEL/Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.

·         Knowledge of Linux storage, LVM, filesystems, RAID, server hardware, and performance troubleshooting.

·         Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, SSH, TLS/SSL, certificates, and PKI.

·         Experience with Pure Storage integration, Kubernetes CSI, Persistent Volumes, Storage Classes, and dynamic provisioning.

·         Hands-on automation and scripting using Shell/Bash, Python, and Ansible.

·         Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

·         Knowledge of Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps.

·         Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

·         Container technologies: Docker and Podman.

·         Monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.

·         Experience building and supporting highly available, scalable PaaS environments.

·         Knowledge of LLDP and TCPDUMP for network troubleshooting.

·         Understanding of NIC Bonding and LACP configurations.

Key Responsibilities

·         Administer and maintain enterprise Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.

·         Manage Linux infrastructure, storage, networking, and server configurations.

·         Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and platform operations.

·         Support application deployments using Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps.

·         Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability.

·         Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, storage, operating systems, networking, containers, and Kubernetes.

·         Perform root-cause analysis and ensure platform stability.
