Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Lead the reporting workstream for SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives by assessing existing reporting capabilities, evaluating business requirements, and defining future-state reporting and analytics architecture.

Analyze existing enterprise reporting solutions, including business intelligence reports, embedded analytics, data models, and custom reporting assets, to identify migration impacts and modernization opportunities.

Design and implement data integration, transformation, and reporting solutions across SAP S/4HANA and enterprise analytics platforms, developing scalable data pipelines and reporting frameworks to support business intelligence and advanced analytics.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical architects to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators, data governance standards, and migration strategies while supporting testing, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation stabilization.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

6–9 years of experience in advanced Databricks and enterprise data analytics, including data integration, reporting modernization, data modeling, and analytics solution development. Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation and reporting migration initiatives is relevant to the role.

Technical Skills:

Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP CDS Views, SAP Embedded Analytics, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, Data Integration, Reporting Architecture

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics modernization initiatives, including assessment of existing reporting capabilities and development of future-state reporting strategies during major system transformations.

Experience translating business reporting requirements into data models, KPIs, analytics solutions, and reporting frameworks that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.

Experience supporting enterprise data migration, reporting redesign, data governance, data quality validation, stakeholder coordination, and post-implementation stabilization.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP reporting capabilities, including SAP BW, CDS Views, embedded analytics, and custom reporting solutions.

Experience designing scalable enterprise analytics solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and integrating data from operational systems into centralized reporting platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate reporting requirements across business and technical teams.
