Senior Musical Instruments Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a full-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding service in our retail store. You'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, accessories, and lessons, using your product knowledge to recommend solutions that support music education. Responsibilities include engaging customers, processing sales and rentals, maintaining merchandising standards, managing inventory, and supporting lesson and repair services. You'll help train junior staff, meet sales goals, participate in community outreach, and uphold a friendly, inclusive, and performance-driven store culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting instruments, accessories, and lessons
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and special orders using POS systems
• Maintain merchandising standards and store appearance
• Monitor and replenish inventory and stock levels
• Support lesson and repair service scheduling and promotion
• Help train and mentor junior sales associates
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Participate in local school and community outreach efforts
• Provide product education on band and orchestra instruments
• Uphold a student-focused, inclusive, service-driven store culture
