Workshop Forklift Engineer - Aldridge

Job Title: Wrokshop Forklift Engineer Basic Salary: £30,000 - £37,000<br />Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40hrs)<br />Location:

Aldridge Your responsibilities will include:<br />Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment<br />Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues<br />Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant<br />Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections<br />Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtime<br />Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule<br />Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets<br />Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed<br />What you’ll need:<br />Experience as a Forklift engineer / Material handling mechanic / Plant Fitter or similar<br />Proven experience of diesel engines<br />Strong experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills<br />Ability to work independently and manage workload<br />A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude<br />Full UK driving licence<br />Your Package:<br />Basic Salary: £30,000 - £37,000<br />Company pension scheme<br />Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays Next steps:<br />If this sounds of interest - please contact Celi on (phone number removed) or apply today.<br />INDCD
