Automotive | New Product Introduction

£52,000 - £55,000 per annum

37 hours per week | Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm | Friday 8am-1pm

Haystack Selection is recruiting for an established automotive manufacturer. Take ownership of new product introduction projects from customer enquiry through to production, coordinating teams, suppliers, budgets and delivery milestones.

The role

Own project timing plans, budgets and customer milestones from order to launch.

Coordinate engineering, quality, production, purchasing and sales teams.

Manage tooling and equipment delivery with suppliers; oversee pre-production samples and production readiness.

Lead APQP project activities and work with Quality to achieve PPAP approvals.

Provide customer updates, resolve project issues and visit customers or suppliers when required.

What you will bring

Automotive new product introduction experience, with ownership of project delivery.

Working knowledge of JLR product introduction procedures and automotive manufacturing.

Understanding of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA and 8D.

Strong customer communication, organisation and cross-functional teamwork.

Rubber, plastics, foam or vacuum forming experience would be advantageous.
