Job Description

Project Manager

  • Location: Crawley
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 dependant on experience

We’re working with a new client in Crawley offering an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you’ll take ownership of real projects from day one and accelerate your development.

As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of projects. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing multiple engineering projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Planning project timelines, coordinating resources, and supporting installations.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to senior management.
  • Attending site visits, supporting installations and meeting clients.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks and ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Working closely with internal teams across engineering, manufacturing and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Up to 1 year of experience in a project, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • A degree (minimum 2:2) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Basic practical engineering knowledge (through study, placements, or early career experience).
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Customer-focused mindset with some client-facing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Commercial awareness alongside technical understanding.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • A full UK driving licence (desirable).
