QA Automation-(Exp-8+) with API &Rest Assured-Onsite-Full time

Seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in API automation, REST Assured, Java, and Selenium. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.
• Create and execute automated API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Validate REST APIs including request/response, status codes, headers, authentication, and data.
• Develop reusable automation scripts and test utilities.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Analyze test failures, identify defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
• Maintain test cases, automation documentation, and QA metrics.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA Automation/SDET.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST Assured and API Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Postman, JSON, XML, HTTP, OAuth/API authentication.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
• Experience with Jenkins/CI-CD.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cucumber/BDD.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Microservices and Kafka testing.
• Knowledge of Cypress or Playwright is a plus.
