Java software developer (In person interview in Albany, NY)

Title: Software Developer

Duration: 30 months

Location: 1220 WASHINGTON AVE BLDG 12, ALBANY, NY, 12226 (50% - Hybrid)

Interview: In-person

Short Description:

• The resources will be needed to assist in moving the Worker Protection applications to the Google cloud.
• The resources will develop new code, as well as maintain and troubleshoot production problems/outages.

Day to day responsibilities:

• The candidate will:
• 1) Monitor the application during infrastructure changes and during normal application hours.
• 2) Make application changes to satisfy business requirements.
• 3) Work with technical testers and business testers as a liaison to check backend results and provide testing data.. 

Experience Required

• 84 months of experience in creating JAVA programs
• 60 months of experience working with Spring boot applications
• 60 months of experience working with a Business Process Management and workflow automation platform such as Camunda as well as integration with backend  
• 84 months of debugging skills (including browser developer tools) as well as experience with building, testing, sharing and managing APIs tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.).
• 36 months of experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Datastore, ElasticSearch, etc.)
• 24 months of experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Google Cloud Platform environments.
