Position: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
Location- Springfield, IL (Onsite)
Duration- 3 months+ with possible extensions                 
Job Description:
Client is looking for a Sr. Pay & Time specialist with hands-on experience in ECP (SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll) and WFS (WorkForce Software). The goal is to understand what's standard vs. customizable in these systems, which reports come off-the-shelf vs. need to be built, and what has to be configured. Someone who has been through a transformation would be incredibly helpful; they'll understand the real needs and what it takes to modernize a system.
Role summary
We're seeking a senior payroll and time expert with deep, hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and WorkForce Software (WFS). This person will help us assess current capabilities and define what it takes to modernize the system. Must be available to be on the ground / on-site as needed.

Which functionalities are standard (out-of-the-box) vs. require customization
Which reports are off-the-shelf vs. need to be built or configured
What must be configured to meet our requirements
Where the systems are flexible and where they have hard limits
Ideal background
Senior-level experience configuring and supporting ECP and WFS in production
Has been through at least one full payroll/time transformation or implementation
Strong grasp of pay rules, time and attendance, and the integration between time and payroll
Able to translate business needs into system requirements and a practical modernization path
Available to be on the ground / on-site as needed
Required
Public sector / government payroll experience
Nice to have
Experience in a multi-agency environment (shared payroll/time platform across agencies)
Experience configuring ECP in a greenfield or migration setting.
