Programme Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Programme Manager to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex, high-value projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer-facing skills who can lead programmes from initial contract award through to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage multiple projects/programmes throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones and project schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Support contract reviews, project launches and engineering changes.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Drive strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental standards.

• Proven experience managing complex engineering or manufacturing projects.
• Strong project planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and project risks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project planning tools.

• Engineering or manufacturing background.
• Degree, HND or equivalent industry experience.
• Professional project management qualifications are advantageous.
