Position Title:
Compensation & Benefits Specialist / HR Business Partner
Washington, DC - Onsite 2 days per week
Assignment Type:
Contract – 3 months
Pay:
$32.00 – $38.00 / Per Hour (depending on experience)
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Standard hours are either 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, with some flexibility needed to collaborate with international teams across different time zones.

Our client is a mission-driven nonprofit organization within the education sector that provides international education programs, curriculum, and professional development to students and educators around the world. Addison Group is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist / HR Business Partner to support our client's Human Resources team during a period of team transition and increased workload ahead of open enrollment.

This contract position will provide hands-on support across payroll, benefits, and select HR functions while partnering with colleagues and leadership in the U.The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in U.S. payroll and benefits who can operate confidently in a global environment. An interest in international education and our client's mission is highly valued. S. payroll activities while collaborating with an international team responsible for payroll processing. Assist employees and HR partners with benefits administration and open enrollment activities.

Help ensure benefits elections and related employee information are accurately maintained. Partner with HR leadership and stakeholders to address payroll and benefits questions in a timely, professional manner. Provide general HR support as needed, including occasional assistance with recruitment-related activities.

Support the HR team through organizational transitions and other time-sensitive initiatives.
4–5 years of professional experience working with payroll and benefits.
~ Experience working with UKG and Oracle or comparable payroll/HR systems.
~ Comfortable working with international teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
~ Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a contract environment.
~ Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
~ Previous recruitment experience is helpful but not required.
~ Interest in international education and our client's mission is preferred.

Contract assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months. The role is being added to provide immediate HR support during a period of team transition and ahead of open enrollment. A permanent opportunity may become available, and the contractor may be eligible to apply if/when that position is posted. Target start date is ASAP. Overtime is not expected and would require prior approval. Opportunity to work with a mission-driven international education organization.
