Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead and organize a range of IT initiatives in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Long-term Contract position (6-month) will oversee project planning, cross-functional coordination, and documentation efforts that support successful delivery across small, mid-sized, and large engagements. The role also plays a key part in shaping solution design outputs by turning technical input into clear project documentation and aligning details with internal and client-facing stakeholders. Primarily remote with capability for client visits as needed.

Responsibilities:

Lead assigned projects from kickoff through completion, keeping scope, budget, timelines, and quality targets on track.

Organize meetings, project resources, equipment, and critical information to support efficient execution across multiple initiatives.

Work with technical teams to convert engineering concepts and notes into clear scopes of work and formal solution documents.

Monitor delivery progress and address risks, blockers, and dependencies to help achieve strong business outcomes.

Coordinate with sales and other stakeholders to clarify design details, requirements, and project expectations.

Maintain project plans, status updates, and workflow visibility using tools such as Atlassian Jira.

Support Agile Scrum practices by facilitating collaboration, prioritization, and steady progress across project teams.

Ensure solution design materials are completed accurately and delivered within expected timeframes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience managing IT projects in environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Hands-on knowledge of project management principles, including scope control, scheduling, budgeting, and quality oversight.
Experience working within Agile Scrum delivery models.
PMP certification or a comparable project management credential.
Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and related project tracking tools.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop formal project or technical documentation.
Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams, business partners, and sales stakeholders.
