Senior Application Developer - Azure Integration Specialist

As a Senior Application Developer, you'll help design, develop and evolve the Azure integration services that connect critical business systems, cloud platforms and digital services across a prominent Federal Department This is a hands-on role for an experienced Azure integration specialist who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable solutions and working across modern cloud technologies.
Role Details
Location: ACT (Hybrid working available)
Contract: 9-month initial term with a 12-month extension option
Security Clearance: Baseline required.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering integration solutions that enable seamless data sharing between critical business platforms, commercial off-the-shelf products and bespoke applications.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms.
• Developing and maintaining Azure-based APIs, services and integration components.
• Building solutions using Azure Service Bus, App Services, Azure Functions and API Management.
• Enhancing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes through Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshooting complex application and integration issues.
• Designing secure and scalable data-sharing approaches across Azure storage services.
• Producing technical documentation and architecture artefacts.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to other developers.

What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with developers who can combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
You will ideally have experience with:

• Microsoft Azure integration services.
• Azure Service Bus.
• Azure App Service.
• Azure Functions.
• Azure API Management.
• Enterprise API and web service development.
• Microsoft .NET development.
• Application lifecycle management practices.
• Working within large and complex ICT environments.
• Supporting and contributing to multidisciplinary delivery teams.
