Cloud Data Security Consultant

seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Security Consultant to design, automate, and enforce robust security controls across our enterprise cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring that data protection, network isolation, and identity governance are woven directly into the lifecycle of our cloud native platforms. You will focus heavily on shifting security left by leveraging automated Policy-as-Code guardrails to prevent vulnerabilities before they reach production Cloud Platform Expertise: 3+ years of deep technical experience hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) security frameworks
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency writing and debugging Terraform at scale
Policy as Code: Direct hands-on experience authoring governance rules with HashiCorp Sentinel
Networking & Identity: Mastery of cloud networking architecture (VPC Service Controls, routing, firewalls) and enterprise IAM architecture
Security Operations (Preferred): Familiarity with cloud threat detection platforms, SIEM integrations, and vulnerability scanners (e.g., Google Security Command Center, Azure Sentinel)
