Job Description

Learning Support Workers Wanted - SEND provisions

Flexible Supply (with potential long-term & permanent opportunities)

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?

We are looking for experienced Learning Support Workers / Student Support Workers to support pupils across PRUs and Alternative Education settings, school SEN departments to provide1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs, EHCPs and behavioural challenges.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in PRUs, SEN, alternative provision, youth work or similar settings
  • A calm, resilient approach and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Confidence supporting young people with emotional needs and challenging behaviour
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Passionate, caring and enthusiastic in the work
