Senior Java Developer

About the Role: We are looking for a Java Developer with strong experience in developing and supporting applications within the Capital Markets domain. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, with a solid understanding of financing products. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business stakeholders is preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java application development within the Capital Markets domain.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, application integration, and distributed systems.
• Ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, data analysis, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience with query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Good understanding of Capital Markets products such as:
• Financing
• Securities Lending
• Repo
• Fixed Income
• Equities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Participation in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and deliver high-quality software solutions.
