The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates has been retained by a premier industrial technology developer in Southwest Montana to spearhead the search for an accomplished Mechanical Design Engineer. Positioned near world-class outdoor destinations like Big Sky and Yellowstone National Park, this role offers an exceptional balance of career advancement and lifestyle. The incoming engineer will play a pivotal role in designing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art processing systems, taking ownership of advanced product development initiatives from concept through full-scale commercialization.
What You’ll Do
Champion cross-functional mechanical engineering initiatives, overseeing complex design projects across their full lifecycle from initial concept to commercial deployment.
Formulate rigorous project parameters to resolve intricate hardware and process challenges while evaluating technical feasibility for next-generation products.
Architect specialized mechanical designs for prototype, pre-commercial, and commercial-grade industrial equipment built for high-demand manufacturing environments.
Synthesize technical findings, design documentation, and engineering recommendations into actionable proposals for executive leadership approval.
Drive technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing Design For Manufacturability (Design For Manufacturability) principles to ensure seamless production transition.
What You Bring
United States Citizenship (Mandatory requirement due to technical security and regulatory compliance guidelines).
Bachelor Of Science In Mechanical Engineering or Master Of Science In Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited institution.
Six Plus Years of dedicated experience in advanced Mechanical Design.
High proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent Computer Aided Design platforms.
Advanced expertise in Finite Element Analysis methodologies.
Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing ANSYS for structural and thermal simulation.
Expertise in Machine Design, Computer Aided Engineering, and Design For Manufacturing within Electrical Equipment & Components or advanced processing equipment industries.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Base Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with background and experience).
Performance Bonus: 5% annual bonus structure.
Additional Incentives: Profit-sharing opportunities.
Relocation: Full relocation assistance provided.
