Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2650 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local && travel allowed. Candidates living • Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials:
Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred.
Experience in more than one area preferred, as they will be floating to all areas.

Special Requests

Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved; no RTO can be approved the first 2 weeks of assignment.
Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.

Unit Details

Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift && Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend, every other holiday.
Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Traveler will work Thanksgiving, Black Friday, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Floating Requirements

Must adhere to UVA’s float policy while floating to various ICU and intermediate care units, including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro && Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID), Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro && Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED boarders admitted to the hospital but boarding in the ED prior to room assignment.
3 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
