Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience

Parking is not provided and is an out-of-pocket expense. Parking costs $6.00 for 1 day (parking garage), $37.00 by the month, or $111.00 per 13-week contract; credit card payments only.
Travel pairs requiring the same schedule are not accepted.

Unit Details

Charge responsibilities may be required per unit needs.
Shift && Scheduling:
No straight day shifts.
Rotating day/evening/night shift schedule.
Every other weekend.
Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs.
On-call and callback may be required per unit needs.

Floating Requirements

Assignment offers exposure to MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care and will be assigned to the intensive care units with the greatest staffing need.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
