Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise-level mobile device refresh and replacement projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to assess existing mobile device inventories and determine replacement requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, deployment plans, milestones, timelines, and status reports.
  • Coordinate procurement, receipt, inventory, staging, configuration, and deployment of iPhones, iPads, and related accessories.
  • Ensure devices are properly configured, documented, asset-tagged, and entered into appropriate asset and IT management systems.
  • Coordinate with IT, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Service Desk, Asset Management, Procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain deployment schedules.
  • Manage the complete device lifecycle, including receipt, staging, assignment, deployment, replacement, return, and disposition.
  • Track inventory, deployment status, user participation, device returns, outstanding activities, and project deliverables.
  • Reconcile inventory and deployment information across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delays.
  • Develop and implement mitigation and contingency strategies to keep projects on schedule.
  • Coordinate device shipment, staging, deployment, return, and inventory activities with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, reports, action items, and status updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and required actions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project activities remain within approved scope, schedule, budget, and established IT, security, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate user communications, scheduling, deployment appointments, and participation throughout the device refresh process.
  • Support the transition of completed projects into normal operational and support processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve mobile device deployment, inventory management, tracking, and project-management processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing technology or IT projects, preferably enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Experience managing mobile device refresh, replacement, deployment, or technology lifecycle projects.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving iPhones, iPads, smartphones, tablets, or other enterprise mobile devices.
  • Strong project planning and project scheduling experience, including milestones, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience with inventory management, asset tracking, device lifecycle management, and reconciliation of data across multiple systems.
  • Experience coordinating procurement, receiving, staging, configuration, deployment, returns, and disposition of IT equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and enterprise mobile device environments.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow or similar IT service management/asset management platforms.
  • Experience coordinating with IT teams, Service Desk, Asset Management, Procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Experience preparing project status reports, trackers, dashboards, and management-level communications.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, compliance, asset-management, and device-lifecycle requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deployment activities simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT project management, technology deployment, infrastructure, mobility, or asset management.
  • PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or other recognized project-management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise mobile device deployment or large-scale technology refresh programs preferred.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, MDM solutions, inventory/asset-management systems, and project-management tools preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking/reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory, project, and deployment records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment and manage changing priorities.
