Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Android development, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, REST APIs, and mobile application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Android applications.

• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code using Kotlin and Java.

• Work with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver mobile solutions.

• Implement responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.

• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.

• Develop and maintain reusable Android components and libraries.

• Troubleshoot application crashes, performance issues, and production defects.

• Perform unit, integration, and UI testing.

• Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices.

• Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and network efficiency.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated mobile application builds and deployments.

• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Android Application Development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java.

• Expertise in Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and Android UI development.

• Strong understanding of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP, and mobile networking.

• Experience with databases such as SQLite, Room, or Firebase.

• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and mobile application release processes.

• Strong understanding of Android performance optimization and debugging.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.

• Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Experience integrating payment gateways or other third-party SDKs.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience publishing and maintaining applications through the Google Play Store.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
