Role : Application Developer

Location : Oklahoma City, OK

Job Summary

The Application Developer will design, develop, maintain, and enhance secure, scalable, and high-quality software applications. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to understand business needs, resolve complex system integration challenges, and deliver effective technology solutions within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, reusable, and secure application code.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and solution needs.
• Analyze and resolve complex application and system integration issues.
• Review and contribute to technical designs and development solutions.
• Implement new features and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders and development teams.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements to optimize responsiveness.
• Manage application parameters and configurations to support efficient front-end performance.
• Automate and improve software development and deployment workflows.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed software applications and system modifications.
• Identify application requirements, technical constraints, dependencies, and system limitations.
• Work effectively within Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and external technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Learn and adopt new programming languages, frameworks, tools, and technologies as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates should have software development experience in at least two of the following areas:

• Web & API Development: .NET / Microsoft technology stack
• UI Development: React, Angular, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Cloud Development: Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms

Additional technical experience should include:

• Web Services
• XML and JSON
• HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP
• Application and data caching
• Azure DevOps workflows
• Agile development methodologies
• SQL Server
• T-SQL
• Stored procedures
• Database optimization and performance tuning
• Git and source control
• Software application development and system integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or
• 2-4 years of professional experience in application development; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of relevant application development experience may substitute for each year of required education.

• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• Experience working in cloud-based development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
