Position Description & Qualifications Looking for a Network Operations Analyst opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) in support of our nation's defense. AFSOC conducts approximately 50 scheduled formal Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercises and events per year.

All supported exercises provide AFSOC and SOCOM training enterprise venues for forces to conduct pre-deployment readiness training in support of GCC requirements at the tactical and operational level of conflict against peer/near peer/VEO adversaries. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and readiness of the warfighter in supporting this critical mission. • Provide network engineering expertise, operational analysis, stakeholder coordination, and technical recommendations to government leadership.
  • Work closely with the Government Network Manager, contractors, and mission partners to support network planning, modernization, issue resolution, and operational readiness. While a strong network engineering background is required, this role does not perform direct administration, maintenance, or configuration of network infrastructure. To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance
  • A U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field

  • Current Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent networking certification)
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense network operations and infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical activities among government and contractor organizations
  • The ability to travel up to 10%
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • CISSP certification
  • Experience supporting AFSOC, Air Force training systems, Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), or Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training environments
