Job Description

Job Title: Senior IT Support Specialist
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration:12+Months
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent; and
Five (5) years of experience in computer systems support work or other directly related experience.
Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in computer science or a related field;
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Knowledge of Windows 11 and Apple iOS operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
Knowledge of Active Directory and Domain environments
Knowledge of the practices, principles, and techniques of computer operations.
Knowledge of information systems.
Knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Knowledge of information security policies and procedures.
Skill in the support of computers, mobile devices, printers, and copiers.
Skill in the support of web conferencing technologies (Teams, Zoom, cameras and displays).
Skill in the use of applicable programs and systems.
Skill in troubleshooting information systems.
Ability to operate IT systems.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships within and outside the agency.
